Fellowship

One of the easiest ways to grow our faith is to spend time in Fellowship with others who share our faith.  If God is to be the center of our lives, then we must surround ourselves with friends and family who share this same desire.   There are a variety of ways to meet and spend time with your parish family.  Please see the list of ongoing/recurring activities below, or check out the Events List

Athletic Association

St. Joseph sports teams are open to children in our parish boundaries. Our purpose is to promote, organize and control all CYC athletic activities for our boys, girls, and adults under Christian guidance, leadership and regulations.

Donut Sunday

The first Sunday of every month the parish provides Donuts and Coffee after all Sunday Masses.  Please come by after Mass and enjoy some time with your fellow parishioners and catch up on what is happening around the parish.  This fun event takes place October thru May!

Marriage Renewal Date Night

Marriage and family life are great blessings, but can often be challenging.  Meet with other couples for fun and faith to refresh and revive your relationship with your spouse.  Call Lea Voder Haar for more information.

Parish Picnic

Every August the parish grounds transform into a Carnival for ALL ages.  There are rides and games, food and drink, as well as music and entertainers under the big tent.  Who doesn't await the famous Chicken Dinner all year long?  This is a huge undertaking and volunteers are always needed.  Sign up to help for a couple of hours, then spend the rest of the day enjoying the festival with your family and friends.  It takes place this year on August 27th, 2016.

Prime Timers

This is a very active club of people 55+ in age.  Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm in the Upper Bridge Building.  Yearly dues are only $10, payable each September. We have many wonderful planned activities and trips.

Quilters

Every Wednesday morning in the Parish Meeting Room a group of ladies are busy creating beautiful quilts. They also provide baby quilts and various crafts for the Fall Festival. Quilting services are available to the public for a fee. Proceeds from the quilting are donated to the parish.

Rise Up- Middle School Youth Group

Rise Up is for all 6th-8th graders, and this youth group meets on the 2nd Thursday and 4th Tuesday of each month.  At Rise Up students get together for fun, snacks, and the opportunity to learn more about God in a welcoming and entertaining environment. Our Catholic faith is applied to daily life. Students not only hear, but are heard in small group discussions. They build confidence and healthy friendships while having fun in safe Christ-centered environment.  There is no need to sign up, just show up. Most nights cover a single topic of Catholic life in an engaging and hands-on way, and there are also fun activities.  Contact Beth Throm, the Coordinator of Youth Ministry, for more information.

St. Joseph Centerstage Players

Every year a group of dedicated performers spend hour upon hour perfecting their performance so that we may be entertain by their humor, singing and dancing skills, and vaudvillian vivacity.  You too may join in and perfect your performance skills, or perhaps become one of the much needed "behind-the-scenes" people.  If acting isn't your thing, simply take advantage of the evening out and purchase your ticket and enjoy the show.
