Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic Church

Welcome to the website of St. Joseph Parish!  The parish is our connection to the one Church of Jesus Christ, united in faith with our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and our local shepherd, Archbishop Carlson.  As pastor, it is my privilege to serve the spiritual needs of this local community.

What an impact the parish has on our lives!  Here we listen to the Word of God proclaimed and receive the Sacred Body and Blood of Christ.  Here we confess our sins and receive the Lord’s forgiveness through the Sacrament of Penance.  Here we reach out in loving service to the young, the old, the poor, the lost, and to anyone in need of Christ.  Here we come together at the most significant times of life:  the birth of a child in Baptism, the comfort of the sick and dying in Anointing, the love a man and woman in Matrimony, the passing of a loved one in Christian Burial.

Since the foundation of the parish in 1905 in Kimmswick, MO, and now at our current location in Imperial, the faithful have gathered under the patronage of St. Joseph to draw closer to God in the power of the Holy Spirit and to unite with Christ as His Mystical Body—His hands, His voice, His Heart.  The parish, indeed, is a living breathing Body.  It is a family, and like any family, cooperates most effectively when all of its members participate fully and generously in its life.

You are most welcome to visit or to become an active member of our family in faith.  Please let us know if we can assist you in anyway.

God bless you,

Msgr. Timothy P. Cronin
